An Update on ICASS-2003, June 01-04, Carleton University, Ottawa

A meeting was held in December with CCRA (the organizers of the Special Workshop on Alcohol Analysis). The ICASS conference is scheduled to be held from June 01-04, 2003 at Carleton University Ottawa. These dates were selected in order to avoid conflicts with the Joint CSC and IUPAC Meeting to be held in Ottawa in August, and the ASMS Meeting to be held in Montreal. Conference facilities have tentatively been booked. Negotiations are being made for food and lodging at the conference site.

In January, several of our SSC members participated at the 2002 Plasma Winter Conference in Arizona (Jan, 2002) and publicised both ICASS-2002 and ICASS-2003 meetings with distribution of flyers and invitations.
